We are pleased to announce that a conference will be held at Purdue University, October 11-12, 2010, on High Performance Scientific Computing, with an emphasis on Architectures, Algorithms, and Applications. The conference will feature talks by leading researchers in high performance scientific computing. The conference is in honor of Ahmed Sameh on the occasion of his 70th birthday. |

Hotel Accommodations: Purdue Memorial Union Hotel
A block of rooms has been reserved for Sunday, October 10 - Monday, October 11. To get the special rate you must book your room via phone. Mention that the block name is "High Performance Computing" conference. The website for the hotel is:

The phone numbers are 800-320-6291 toll free, or 765-494-8913. Rooms with one or two beds and luxury suites are available.
Registration
The registration page is now up! We do not anticipate charging a registration fee for the conference, provided we are able to raise the needed funds from other sources.
Transportation
Those traveling to the Indianapolis airport can find transportation from Indianapolis to West Lafayette at the ground transportation location. All rental car vendors and available in the ground transportation location. Those who wish to take a shuttle to West Lafayette have two options
* Lafayette Limo ($50.00 round trip, must pay with cash)
* Star of America ($19.00 each way, can pay with credit card or book online).
The Indianapolis to Lafayette shuttles load at ground transportation zone 6. Those traveling from Chicago have the option of taking a shuttle from O'Hare to the Purdue airport. The shuttle service for Chicago is Express Air Coach. The Express Air Coach shuttle picks up individuals only if a reservation is made. Otherwise, the shuttle will not travel to O'Hare. The Purdue Memorial Union Hotel has a shuttle service from the Purdue airport to the hotel (call (765) 494-8900 to schedule a pick-up). A few attendees have requested the option to carpool from the Indianapolis airport. Those who are interested in carpooling can send an email to emcox@purdue.edu. Please include contact information and arrival time.
